Anton Panaciuk’s Operation Tentatively Scheduled for Mid-February

Anton Panaciuk eleven, has an ASD (an atrial septal defect), a condition in which the wall that separates the upper heart chambers does not close completely. As a result, blood continues to flow from the left to the right atria building pressure in the lungs. Anton is from the Lipitsk region.
Dr. Levchuck, Chairman of Pediatric Cardiology at St. Francis Hospital, has accepted to operate on Anton. His operation is tentatively scheduled for mid-February.
