Medical Missions to the Nizhny Novgorod Cardiac Center

After a long history of collaboration with Novick Cardiac Alliance (NCA), to improve the care of children in Russia with heart disease in Kemerovo and Voronezh, RGOL USA identified Nizhny Novgorod as one of the regions where children continued to be underserved.

 

In March 2014, Dr. Novick and RGOL USA, visited the Nizhny Novgorod Cardiac Center. They were given a presentation on the state of pediatric cardiac surgery at the hospital and gave recommendations on the further development of pediatric cardiac services. The three parties entered into a similar agreement for a long-term project as in Kemerovo and Voronezh.
